The cat is now sure that I am torturing him. When I went to the vet on Tuesday to get him microchipped, she set out a diet for him to drop a few pounds and it is a lot stricter than the diet I had been enforcing (which, I figure, is good. I mean, it was better that I was over feeding him less than underfeeding him. And now I have guidelines taylored to, well, Taylor).

I wonder if this is what gods feel like. He whines and complains, but the moment I go to give him a bit of food, he is at my feet looking up at me like I am the Most Awesome Thing Ever and his Guiding Light. And then once the food is gone, I am back to being mean for not giving him more.

Yeesh.
